Red Blood Cell Disorder

A Red Blood Cell (RBC) disorders are diseases that affect the red blood cells. Anemia is the most common blood disorder. The body is not equipped with sufficient red blood cells, and cannot provide enough oxygen throughout the body.

Anemia

Anemia is a condition in which you lack enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to your body's tissues. Having anemia can make you feel tired and weak. There are many forms of anemia, each with its own cause.

White Cell Disorder

White blood cell disorders can occur due to the fact that the white blood cells count is excessive or low or your white blood cells aren't functioning correctly. Conditions of lymphocytes and neutrophils are the most usual.

Leukemia

Leukemia is a blood cancer caused by a rise in the number of white blood cells in your body. Those white blood cells crowd out the red blood cells and platelets that your body needs to be healthy. The extra white blood cells don’t work right.

Platelet Disorder

Platelets are the cells that produce blood clots, therefore irregular platelets cause injured blood vessels to bleed more and heal more slowly than usual. Thrombocytopenia is a condition in which you have an insufficient blood platelet count.

Enlarged Spleen

The spleen is a lymphatic organ that helps to prevent your body from infection. The size and shape of the spleen vary from person to person, but it's usually purple, fist-shaped, and around 4 inches long. As the spleen is hidden behind the rib cage, it is difficult to feel unless it is exceptionally large.

Blood Cancer

Changes in DNA within blood cells cause blood cancers. When irregular blood cells develop out of control, they affect the function of normal blood cells. Leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma are the most common blood cancers.

Myelodysplastic Syndrome

Myelodysplastic syndromes are a group of disorders caused by poorly formed blood cells or ones that don't work properly. Myelodysplastic syndromes result from something amiss in the spongy material inside your bones where blood cells are made (bone marrow).

Myeloproliferative Neoplasms

Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), commonly called myeloproliferative disorders, are diseases of the bone marrow and blood. They can strike at any age, have no known cause and a wide range of symptoms and outlooks.

Bone Marrow Failure

Bone marrow consists of a matrix of sinusoids lined with epithelial cells interspersed with islands of erythropoietic cells encapsulated by reticulin cells. The bone marrow is composed of red marrow and inactive adipose tissue (yellow marrow) in about equal quantity.

Immuno Deficiency Disorder

Immunodeficiency disorders cause malfunction in the immune system, which results in infections that develop and return more often, are more severe, and last longer.

Coagulation Disorder

Coagulation disorders are conditions that impact the body function regulating blood clotting. Patient suffers from problems due to excessive bleeding after surgery or an injury. The most common bleeding disorder is hemophilia.

Bleeding Disorders

A bleeding disorder is a condition that affects the way your blood normally clots. The clotting process, also known as coagulation, changes blood from a liquid to a solid. When you’re injured, your blood normally begins to clot to prevent a massive loss of blood. Sometimes, certain conditions prevent blood from clotting properly, which can result in heavy or prolonged bleeding.
